Vale launches series of unpublished articles about innovation on LinkedIn

On September 13th, Vale launched a special series of unpublished opinion articles about innovation, which are part of the campaign Innovating goes beyond. The texts, signed by Vale’s managers and specialists, help to show that the innovation subject goes beyond the creation of new technologies, considering that one of the purposes of the campaign is to reinforce practices and values that point to the future of mining.

The special series will be published weekly on the social network until October 20th, adding a total of six opinion articles covering the subjects of social technology, human resources, environment, IT and Communication, all within the proposal of the campaign “Innovating goes beyond”.

The texts are published by Vale’s spokespeople on LinkedIn and promoted by the Specialist Word showcase, a project aimed at publishing opinion articles in press channels since 2014. In this way, the project has the series “Innovating Goes Beyond” as a milestone for the publication of unpublished opinion articles also on LinkedIn.

“Since its inception, the Specialist Word has already produced about 40 opinion articles signed in the most influential newspapers and magazines in Brazil. Its showcase on LinkedIn expands our horizons, bringing new possibilities for reaching and interacting with Vale’s audiences”, explained Mônica Ferreira, manager of digital media and relationship with the press.

Social technology

The first article of the series is signed by the Vale Foundation’s president director, Isis Pagy, and talks about a special, but little-known type of technology: the social one.
