The Vale Natural Reserve is one of the largest protected areas of Brazilian Atlantic Forest.
There will be plenty of fun, recreation and educational activities at the Vale Natural Reserve from July 21 to 23. These attractions will be part of the School Holiday Program, a scheme focused on recreation and social education to be run during the school break. The aim is to encourage children to get closer to nature, foster group interaction and develop team spirit. Themes such as water, air, biodiversity, energy and waste will be addressed during the activities, which will take place from 8 am to 5 pm.
All the School Holiday Program’s planned activities will be accompanied closely by one of the Vale Natural Reserve’s environmental guides, who will stay with the children the whole time. In all, 42 places are available, and to participate you need to acquire a day pass, which costs R$130. As well as allowing your child to take part in the planned activities, this pass also includes transport to the site and three meals (breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack), which will be served at the restaurant inside the Reserve.
You need to enrol by July 15. There will be special payment options for those choosing to take part in all three days. For more information about the availability of places and payment options, please call 27 3371 9703 or 27 3371 9702.
Transport to the Vale Natural Reserve will take place in an executive coach, to depart from Praça 22 de Agosto in the town of Linhares. When arriving at the Reserve, the children will be welcomed with a delicious picnic in the midst of nature. It is important for them to take a vacuum bottle, insect repellent, sunscreen and a baseball cap. For the activities held in the forest, such as ecological hikes, they must wear long trousers and sneakers.
