Vale Natural Reserve
Vale Natural Reserve (RNV, Reserva Natural Vale) preserves an almost-untouched, unique area of
Atlantic Forest in Linhares (Espírito Santo). It is about 23 thousand hectares – equivalent to the
size of 23 thousand soccer fields.
In 1978, RNV became an area officially designed for conservation and scientific research. This page

Open to the public, Vale Natural Reserve is an excellent area for ecotourism since it is located
in Circuito do Verde e das Águas, one of the main touristic routes of the state of Espírito
Santo. It is a large green area for leisure, with trails, a hanging bridge, an observation
tower, ecological workshops, and a Visitor Center with a permanent exhibition on the Atlantic
Forest. In addition, the hotel offers pools, game room, toy library, playground, gym, and sports
court.
Besides biodiversity conservation and leisure, the Reserve is used for the development of
scientific researches with great impact on society and essential for knowing and handling the
forest.
