The project supports the sustainable development and strengthening of productive chains of crab and shrimp species in 30 communities distributed in ten municipalities of the Amazon.

The Sustainable Fisheries project on the Amazon Coast supports the sustainable development and strengthening of the productive chains of the crab-uçá and shrimp of the regional-Amazonian, piticaia and white types, in the states of Amapá, Pará and Maranhão, with the objective of providing the access of small-scale artisanal fishers to marine resources and markets.
