Vale Botanical Park in Vitória, Brazil - The 33 hectares (equivalent to 33 soccer pitches) are part of the Vale Green Belt. The park is a leisure area for the community and, at the same time, an Atlantic Forest conservation unit.
There are over 140 tree species such as pau-brasil (brazilwood), jacaranda (rosewood) and ipê, along with wildlife such as squirrels, skunks, marmosets and a number of bird species which can be seen on five ecological trails. Visitors can also spend time in the orchidarium with 500 different types of this flower.
