In a unique new initiative, Vale will provide artists from the state of Espírito Santo, Brazil, with the opportunity to show their creativity on a 3-dimensional “canvas” featuring a 430-square-meter façade, installed on one of the busiest streets in Greater Vitória, the state capital. The aim of the Vale Visual Art Contest is to promote the talents of local artists.
This will be the first work of art to be created in an operational area of Vale anywhere in the world. The “canvas” will be the Israel Davi Rosenberg Building, located on the main road in Tubarão Complex, which around 10,000 people and more than 4,5000 vehicles go past every day.
The Vale Visual Art Contest reflects Vale’s commitment to supporting local talent. It will be an opportunity for artists to show their flair by proposing a new painting to cover one of the buildings at Tubarão Complex.
