Vale is a global company and is now present in 38 countries. To support the company’s expansion and ensure a base of qualified suppliers, the program is being rolled out internationally. As a result, in due course, Inove expects to serve all the regions where Vale operates across the world.
International expansion process
Firstly, Inove teams visit the country to conduct a diagnosis in order to identify local capacity to meet Vale’s procurement needs in that country.
After demands have been mapped and the region’s main areas of potential have been determined, possible gaps and opportunities are identified. This paves the way for the establishment of an action plan for implementing Inove in the country in a long-term, continually evolving manner, with products tailored to local conditions. This initiative is part of the challenge of developing the supply chain in a competitive and sustainable way.
