of prospecting for new suppliers. The aim is to work with a base of
suppliers classified by purchasing category, ensuring that Vale’s
business needs are met, and that there is fair and healthy competition
between companies in each sector.
To start the process at Vale, companies interested in supplying goods
or services must fill in a pre-registration form, which will be made
available in line with location. The information registered will be
available to Vale, and the process will continue, regardless of the
supplier’s qualification status, when Vale needs to expand the number of
companies available for internal processes. Please fill in all spaces
on the form, as this increases the chances of identifying your company
in bid processes. It is fundamental for you to understand that only full
qualification enables companies to sign contracts with Vale.
