Nickel
Nickel is known for its versatility and resistance to oxidation and corrosion. It retains its characteristics even when subjected to extreme temperatures.
It is most commonly used in combination with other metals to form alloys. These combinations possess physical and chemical properties that are not found in pure metals.
Nickel is used in many products and applications, such as televisions, rechargeable batteries and CD/DVD pressing. The biggest share is used in steel mills to produce stainless steel, which is found in coins, cutlery and even railroad cars.
