  • July 7 – Recycled Art Workshop–Decorated Tetra Pak Milk Carton

    Participants will learn how to make a decorated milk carton.

  • July 13 – Recycled Art Workshop –PET Bottle-Pinwheel-Making

    Participants will learn how to make a pinwheel from PET bottles

  • July 14 –Arraiá in the Park

    Come to the Arraiá (typical early winter party in Brazil) at Vale Botanical Park, with lots of music, typical food and children´s games. Time: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

  • July 09 to 26 – Eco-vacation Project

    During the vacation weeks, the Vale Botanical Park is offering workshops using recycled materials.
    Tuesday – Catching the wind
    Wednesday - Cuca verde (Ecological Puppets)
    Thursday – Canvas painting
    Friday - Mini vegetable garden
    Times: 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
    Capacity: 20 people
    Sign up on the day of the workshop at the park´s administration office.

  • July 20 – Theatrical Presentation O Auto do Tatu (“The Armadillo Act”)

    A community struggles to bring back a sacred animal, the symbol best embodying their happiness, in this musical puppet show based on Brazilian folk traditions. Through this playful and imaginative tribute to the forces of nature, Folgazões Theatre Company inspires reflection on the importance of ancestral roots and respect for Mother Earth.
