Vale is starting to operate with the most efficient ships in the world. That's right: the 2nd generation of Valemax ships emits fewer greenhouse gases than all other transport ships. The first green ship of Vale left the Tubarão Port in February this year and the second is already sailing and should arrive in the next few days to Espírito Santo. "The 2nd Generation of Valemax ships emits 41% fewer greenhouse gases per tonne per mile transported compared to the 2011 Capesize fleet.
