Recruitment Flow

Vacant positions at PT Vale interpreted as permanent staff positions unfilled. Vacant positions may occur due to retirement, resignation of the previous employees, layoffs, death, accidents resulting in permanent disability, prolonged hospital employees who are physically and or psychologically does not allow the employee to return to work, promotion or demotion of position, and job rotation.

Before proceeding external (Local/Regional/National/International) recruitment process, all vacant positions must be opened internally through internal recruitment.

PT Vale recruitment flow

1. Internal Recruitment is a part of recruitment process aimed to fill vacant position with PT. Vale resources.

2. Local recruitment is a part of external recruitment process aims to fill a vacant position with local candidate particularly from four development areas (4 area Pemberdayaan) in East Luwu regency.

3. Regional Recruitment is a part of external recruitment process aims to fill a vacant position with regional candidate from outside four development areas (4 area Pemberdayaan) at South Sulawesi Province.

4. National recruitment is a part of external recruitment process aimed to fill vacant position with national candidate from outside Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan.

To maintain fairness of the process, each cycle of recruitment process cannot be parallel, each cycle has to be finish before start another cycle of recruitment.


    Due timeline consideration, the exception can be done for regional and national for certain reason:

  • There is no available candidate in the regional.
  • Candidate in regional applied the position is not adequate by the number, by competency and by the experience-exposure required.

The recruitment cycle in national can be started after above criteria are meet.


    Recruitment has a standard assessment for candidate to fill in open position such as:

  • Minimum requirement assessment; Recruitment will assess of candidate minimum requirement such as education, experience, competencies etc, base on position requirement.
  • Aptitude assessment
  • BEI assessment
  • Written Technical Assessment
  • In Field Assessment ( if required)
  • Technical Interview Assessment
  • Presentation (if required)
  • Pre employments Medical Check Up (PECU)
  • Only candidate (s) who passes all assessment will be given Offer Letter for staff up candidates or will be invited for contract signing for non staff candidates.
